Recently, School of Finance of RUC cooperated with internationally renowned SSCI / ESI journal Emerging Market Finance and Trade (2012 Impact Factor 1.19) in organizing a special issue on the cutting edge issues of fiscal and monetary policy of China and other emerging markets. It now solicits contribution from all over the world. The special issue was organized by School of Finance of RUC. Professor Zhang Chengsi and Professor Guo Qingwang of School of Finance were guest editor. EMFT journal was hosted by the Society for Emerging Market Research, which is an important journal in the research of emerging market finance and trade. It bimonthly publishes 8-10 articles. Each year EMFT journal cooperates with selected leading universities and research institutions worldwide in related fields in publishing special issue on particular cutting-edge research. The journal invites industry experts to be guest editor, responsible for the special issue organizing, review and publication. The collaboration shows the recognition of international academia of the importance of RUC in the field of finance. It is also a realistic initiative implemented by RUC in building a world-class university.
