On July 6-7thRUC School of Finance held the third International Forum on Finance online. The theme of this year’s forum was “Financial Markets and Policies in the Context of Economic Recovery.”

Eight top scholars from domestic and foreign universities, including Professor Olivier Coibion from University of Texas at Austin, Professor Stefano Giglio from Yale School of Management, Professor James Nason from North Carolina State University, and Professor Athanasios Orphanides from MIT Sloan School of Management, discussed various cutting-edge topics in the contemporary monetary and financial fields together with students and teachers from the School of Finance.

On July 6th, the forum officially began. Professor MA Jun from Northeastern University (US) hosted the opening ceremony, and Professor ZHANG Chengsi, Dean of RUC School of Finance, gave a welcoming speech. Prof. Zhang introduced the history, development status and discipline advantages of RUC School of Finance.

On July 6th, Olivier Coibion, Athanasios Orphanides, MIAO Meng and WANG Chenxi respectively reported their academic papers and commented on each other.

On July 7th, Stefano Giglio, James Nason, LIU Zehao and LU Dong, presented their academic papers and commented on each other.

RUC School of Finance has successfully hold three International Forums on Finance, which has built an academic exchange platform, attracting international attention on Chinese finance and RUC School of Finance, and promoting more output high-level research achievements.
